June 4th, 2019
Managing shareholder of The Marrone Law Firm, P.C., Anthony A. Marrone, II, has joined the New York State Bar Association's Committee on Disability Rights a standing committee of the State Bar.
The Committee focuses on any and all matters pertaining to legal issues affecting people with disabilities, including development and promotion of pending or existing legislation; education of the legal community, government and the general public; provision of forum for discussion of important public issues; and involvement in law reform activities.
Upon receiving confirmation of his appointment from newly-elected NYSBA President Henry Greenberg, Attorney Marrone said, "it is an honor to be asked to serve on the Committee on Disability Rights. I hope to take what I've learned serving clients with disabilities and help bring the issues they face front and center in both the New York State Bar Association and in legislation in Albany. I also look forward to meeting new colleagues from around New York State who do this meaningful work. I'm excited to get started."
