  • Maintaining database of Firm's active probate & estate administration files;
  • Preparation of all documents for estate administration, including, probate petitions, inventories, estate accountings, and estate closing documents;
  • Meeting with clients and their families;
  • Communicating with beneficiaries;
  • Serve as main point of contact for existing probate & estate administration clients;
  • Supervise e-filing of all trust & estate administration cases through NYSCEF

Our Ideal Candidate:

You are interested in the field of probate & estates. You must demonstrate previous knowledge or a growing interest to the area of probate & estates as evidenced through your professional experience or school coursework.

You love learning. Internal and external processes are constantly evolving and improving, and you are always looking for the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute.

You are a fantastic multitasker. You will often be surrounded by competing priorities, and our ideal candidate can determine the difference between urgent and high priority, and act accordingly.

You are a self-starter. You’ll have many team members to collaborate with, but you’ll need to be able to take ownership of each of your projects from start to completion.

You are an excellent communicator. You have superior written and verbal communication skills.


  • Previous experience as a paralegal, with an emphasis on trust & estate administration and/or estate planning
  • Ability to present a professional appearance when meeting with clients
